More Cryptic Crosswords

Ones I didn't say this time.

For possibly the first time ever in the history of me, I managed to finish an entire cryptic crossword on my own today. I was very pleased with myself.

I also had a fairly successful 3-hour meeting, a sentence which I'm using also for possibly the first time ever. Things are going well this week.

An update for people interested in MBTI (that's everyone but you, Lint!) - I've found an on-line version of the test which gave me almost the exact same results as the one done at work (still came out an INTP, just with slightly different relative strengths of each of the four characters).

I came out as INTJ again. However I was doing it in a bit of a rush last night, and having read the two descriptions of INTJ, I don't think thats me.

Do I seem decisive and confident to the point of arrogance to you? No, I didn't think so. Some of the other stuff has echoes of me.. I think I'm probably somewhere between INTP and INTJ in reality.

And I'd really like to be able to qualify my answers... "You believe the world is founded on compassion".. I think it is? Or I think it should be? And is that I think the world should be founded on the logical application of compassionate principals based in a strong sense of justice.. or I just think everyone should be nice? I'm probably somewhere around 3... all decisions should have a strong logical basis, but where possible they should also be compassionate. Or something.

I try again tonight and think about it a bit more.

Spending a little too much time thinking about the answers there - I think the fact you're arguing with lots of the questions probably means something in itself. What, I don't know though!

Something that might help crystallise your decision - would you rather be more like me or the Ginger Buffoon? That's your choice!

Ginger is INTJ then?

Some more quibbles:
"You consider the scientific approach to be the best" approach to what? I believe the scientific approach is best for science, however I feel a much more intuitive and emotional approach generates the best music. I believe the best approach is defined by the task, not a general rule. I think I consider a logical approach is more often best suited than any other approach though.

"You think that everything in the world is relative"
Again... yes, and no. Relative with certain bounds. There are very few absolutes... but that doesn't necessarily mean everything is negotiable. However, most of my answers to the questions here are "it depends" and "well, comparatively".. so I guess I have to answer yes.

"It is easy for you to communicate in social situations"
Define that. Do I have to communicate WELL, or just communicate? Does talking about star trek and C++ count, since I socialise with equally geeky people half the time? Does going round to someone’s house count as a "social situation?" or is it more about clubbing and watching football?

I got ITNP this time (though I don't think I answered all that differently)

Introverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving
67 56 39 22

I think I'm thinking about this too much... (so why is my thinking score so low?)... but that doesn't make a change. I spend half my day questioning who I am.
